Your Style Is Your Motivation

The fastest way to quit guitar is to spend six months learning music you don't care about. The fastest way to fall in love with it is to play the songs that move you. At our Omaha studio, we start with your taste and build from there.

Rock and Pop Guitar

If you grew up air-guitaring to classic rock or want to play in a band someday, rock guitar is your path. You'll learn power chords, riffs, pentatonic scales, and how to build a solo. Electric guitar is the natural home for this style, though acoustic rock is absolutely a thing.

Blues Guitar

Blues is the root of almost all modern guitar. Learning blues means learning bends, vibrato, call-and-response phrasing, and the emotional vocabulary that makes guitar feel alive. Many of our most passionate students started here.

Classical Guitar

Classical technique is demanding and rewarding. You'll use your fingernails as picks, read standard notation, and develop a level of precision that transfers to every other style. If you love Bach, Segovia, or fingerstyle acoustic music, this is your world.

Country and Folk

Chicken pickin', Travis picking, open tunings, and storytelling through song — country and folk guitar have a rich tradition and a devoted community right here in Nebraska.

Jazz Guitar

Chord melody, improvisation over complex changes, and a deep relationship with music theory. Jazz guitar is a lifelong pursuit that rewards every hour you put in.

Tell us what you love and we'll design a curriculum around it. That's the Adkins difference.
